I'm on Cisco Networkers meeting with friends, listening to sessions and all that social networking stuff.
The plan is to go on vacation to Bulgaria for xmas and new year. Presents are already bought and the suitcase is fully packed with them. No space for shopping here. Airplane tickets are arranged already, so you folks can expect me to come along on the 17th. I'll stay at least until the Jan 3rd.
I touched quite a few new technologies lately and I really need to write several papers on new ideas surrounding these.
e.g. Multicast source redundany via IP anycasting, Linux HA and RAID1 over IP using DRBD and transparent Ethernet multipoint VPNs using nothing but IP multicasting, GRE tunnels and generic ethernet bridging code.
