Learning Japanese

Japanese is one of the languages that I'd really, really like to learn some day. This funny article (via Neurotech) made me even more determined :)

Of course, the problem lies in the "some day" part of the above; Japanese is on the list, along with Latin, Italian, and a couple of languages that I'd really like to refresh my knowledge of, as in "actually learn a larger vocabulary and start reading".

i've wanted to learn japanese too and even started with some online lessons, but it was short-lived, i lost interest after the third lesson. i have convinced myself that if i want to learn a foreign language i should go to a course and no try by myself at home

Wow, that was fast :)

Yes, I agree with the going to a course part - the Latin self-tutoring book's been resting on my bookshelf for more than five months now, after I decided that it was really no use just carrying it around in the backpack for weeks, opening it just twice in the meantime...
